Two years ago, just before I took a hiatus from Alaska, I took a series of photos of the Gold Town Nickelodeon. It’s a small independent art house movie theater in Juneau, Alaska that has a flare for great films, live music, and off the beaten path shows. It’s a truly Juneau experience, owned by Mark and run by Collette Costa. The theater is especially dear to me as I ran it a couple of days a week for two years under its previous owner, Lisle Hebert, the famed Juneau filmmaker. On my last trip to Juneau, we got about a dozen Juneaunites to show up for another promotional photoshoot, in the true spirit of Gold Town.
